Dear Friends,


As you continue pray for our family and for Disciples Church, here are some areas of focus...

1. Staci's employment. My wife, Staci, is an RN and works for Scott & White Hospital in Temple. For about a year, she has worked the 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift in a very critical care environment. As we make this transition in our lives, we both feel that a daytime job would work much better for our family and our calling. Please pray for us as we look at different options. We want to make sure we're following the Lord's lead on this. 

2. Our house. Less than two years ago, we bought a new home in West Temple to be near our community (a large percentage of The Vista lives within a few miles of our home). At that time, we didn't know God would be calling me to plant Disciples Church in Harker Heights. We feel that in order to plant a church in Harker Heights, we need to live in Harker Heights. This is not a requirement for everyone on our launch team, but it is for us. So, we'll be putting our house on the very weak market. We know that if this is God's plan, he'll make it happen.


3. DC Funding. Much of the new church start up funding that was once available has dwindled in a weak economy. This makes support from individuals more important than ever. If you'd like to know how you can support Disciples Church, please contact me at tim@thevistacommunity.com
